Rabbi Sheftel Skaist, Menahel
Rabbi Sheftel Skaist has been in chinuch for over 25 years. He holds a semicha in safrus and a Masters degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. Rabbi Skaist has experience teaching children of all ages and adults in limudei kodesh and limudei chol. He has established, managed, consulted, and mentored in various yeshivos, working with and empowering children and adults to develop in their respective roles as talmidim and mechanchim.
With strong organizational skills, creativity, and warm personality, Rabbi Skaist looks forward to creating a yeshiva where children love learning, Torah & yiddishkeit and one in which parents are proud partners in planting the seeds and building the foundation for their children's future.
Mrs. Henny Kohn, Consultant
Mrs. Henny Kohn is a master mechaneches who has spent decades establishing and managing preschool programs in various yeshivos. As a mentor, many of those she trained grew to become sought-after, superstar moros.
We are thankful that Mrs. Kohn has agreed to work with Rabbi Skaist on setting the preschool curriculum; arranging the physical classroom space and materials; training preschool staff over the summer; and mentoring them throughout the year.
Mrs. Kohn's educational philosophy is very much aligned with YDHM and she has the experience, drive, and know-how to continuously advance our program and create a preschool like no other!
Mrs. Rochel Miriam Ginsberg, Morah
Mrs. Ginsberg comes to us with 12 years of preschool experience, most recently as a teacher at Bnos Leah Prospect Park of Monsey.
Morah Rochel Miriam is a warm and engaging teacher whose educational expertise, knowledge of curriculum, understanding of child development, and mindful approach are a perfect match for YDHM!
We are thankful that she works with the boys for the full day, teaching both limudei kodesh and limudei chol.
